Cooling rollers are fed with cooling water when calendered films or adhesive tapes are coated. This reduces deformation caused by material shrinkage during cooling in the roll forming process. The material passes through the cooling roll before final forming to minimize deformation. These rollers are positioned behind the web drying unit to reduce web temperature to the curing temperature of heat-setting ink.
