This tapered slot polyurethane screen plate is optimized for the aggregate industry, particularly for sand washing and dewatering. The unique tapered opening design is wider at the bottom than the top, which allows particles that enter the slot to pass through freely, virtually eliminating the risk of blinding and blocking. Built with a thick 45mm or 50mm profile and a high-tensile steel skeleton, the plate can handle the impact and weight of heavy aggregate loads. It fits standard 305mm and 515mm widths, making it a "drop-in" replacement for most industrial vibrating machines. The use of high-performance polyurethane ensures the plate remains flexible enough to resist impact but hard enough (80-95 Shore A) to withstand constant abrasion. Field tests show that these PU panels can reduce the moisture content of the final sand product to between 8% and 15% by weight, making it ready for immediate transport via belt conveyors. This efficiency, combined with a service life 5 times longer than rubber, provides a high return on investment for quarry operators.
